This workshop is designed to provide hands-on experience on establishing a more standard, robust, stable and secure network. The workshop covers concepts, technology, threats, and the policies involved in monitoring and maintaining network as well as security. Finally, the training further discusses the plans and actions that can be implemented and maintained the LERNET.
Objectives
§ To understand the concept, services and campus network design, security and monitoring.
§ To acquire knowledge and skills necessary to implement and operate the network.
Target Audience/Participants
The participants of the workshop would be the potential Network engineers, IT Staff who tends to work in their university NOC as well as the participants from TEIN members’ countries (if there are any).
